Using chemicals to create an electric current is old news in the 21st century. This activity was developed to try and understand the terminology and how electric currents flow on a molecular level. First developed by a university student in the States, this project was abandoned. After careful reconstruction, I have managed to create a review module that allows students to appreciate the complexity of electrochemistry at their own pace.
